Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for simple and reliable handling in a measurement system for measuring a stationary or rotary type material removing tool in a machine tool.SOLUTION: A non-contact type measurement system has a non-contact type measurement device having an optical transmitter 14 and a light receiver 16, measures a position of a tool or measures the longest cutting edge of a rotary tool, where an optical lens constitution for forming rays of light from the optical transmitter 14 to the light receiver 16 and converging the rays of light is attached on the optical transmitter 14 and/or the light receiver 16, the optical lens constitution is stored in a lens mount, the lens mount has at least a cross section having a cylindrical inner sleeve and outer sleeve, the lens constitution is inserted into the inner sleeve and is at least partially surrounded by the outside sleeve, and the lens mount and the lens constitution are stored by the wall of the optical transmitter 14 and/or the light receiver 16.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
