Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base material and optical film having excellent adhesion, and also provide a polarizing plate including the optical film.SOLUTION: This invention provides a base material in which a water contact angle of a surface thereof at 25°C is 15°-30°, a laminate provided with an alignment layer on the surface of the base material, and an optical film provided with an optical anisotropic layer on the alignment layer of the laminate. This invention also provides a polarizing plate 4a made by lamination of the optical film 1 and a polarization film 2.
