To maintain the high ratio of a storage space to the size of a storage furniture body by decreasing the horizontal width of a stile.

An inclined plane 33a, which is inclined downward in the direction of the lateral stile 112, is formed on the top surface of a free end of a locking operation member 33 which laterally protrudes/recedes along with the operation of a lock 32 provided in the front plate of a drawer. A linking member 34, which is attached to the stile, comprises a base body 41 which is attached to the stile 112, and a rotating lever 42 which has an intermediate part supported by the base body 41, so as to be rotatable on a horizontal axis, one end of which serves as an input end 42e and the other end of which serves as an output end 42f. The protrusion of the locking operation member 33 in the direction of the stile 112 makes the undersurface of the input end 42e abut on the inclined plane 33a so as to be driven upward, makes the output end 42f of the rotating lever 42 moved downward so that an actuating member 35 can be driven downward, and makes a stopper of the drawer locked to a locking part 36 so that the drawer can be put into a locked state.
