Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery box locking mechanism for preventing a battery box from carelessly coming off by preventing an engaging part for locking the battery box from moving in an unlocking direction while following a key operation.SOLUTION: A locking mechanism 4 for a battery box 1 comprising: an engaged part 2 of the battery box 1; and an engaging part 3 to be engaged with/disengaged from the engaged part 2, is constituted such that a restriction part 6 for restricting action of the engaging part 3 can be switched between a restricting position and a non-restricting position where the restriction is released, while the engaging part 3 keeps its engagement position, by a key operation, and such that the restriction part 6 is switched to a non-restricting position by the key-releasing operation. By the key operation, only the position of the restriction part 6 for restricting the action of the engaging part 3 is switched between the restricting position and the non-restricting position, and the engaging part 3 is not moved, and thus, there is an advantage of lightening the key operation. Besides, the battery box 1 can be safely prevented from coming off carelessly in a key-releasing state only by the key operation, and with such the mechanism, safety can be achieved.
