Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for preparing allyl alcohol, wherein glycerol and formic acid are reacted under specific synthesis conditions, thus remarkably increasing the the concentration of allyl alcohol in the liquid reaction products and minimizing the production of allyl formate byproduct and the production of unreacted formic acid.
