Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-alkali glass substrate capable of reducing variation of thermal shrinkage in a TFT array manufacturing process when used for high precision display applications for mobile and a manufacturing method of the non-alkali glass substrate.SOLUTION: There is provided a non-alkali glass substrate having absolute value of difference between thermal shrinkage in any direction on one location by selecting any two locations on one major surface and thermal shrinkage in a direction orthogonal to the on another location of 2 ppm or less. The shrinkage is calculated by measuring deformation amount in a measurement direction of the glass substrate before and after a heat treatment by increasing temperature of the glass substrate from ordinary temperature to 600°C at 100°C/h, holding at 600°C for 80 min and decreasing temperature from 600°C to ordinary temperature at 100°C/h.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
