Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a lithium ion secondary battery prepared with an electrolyte containing a difluorophosphate in which the duration of a cell-voltage rise after left to stand is short in a second self-discharge step.SOLUTION: The method for producing a lithium ion secondary battery satisfies at least one of the following requirements (1) and (2). (1) In a cell array binding step, a cell array 200 is held between pressing fixtures 30 and 40 to be bound so that the pressure exerted on the flat exterior (a first flat exterior 110b and a second flat exterior 110c) of an electrode body 110 is in the range of 650 to 8150 kPa. (2) In a second self-discharge step, an initial voltage of standing being a cell voltage at the time of leaving the cell array 200 to stand, is in the range of 3.4 to 3.8 V.
