Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a silk yarn having a soft feeling capable of imparting permanent crimpability to the silk yarn by performing removal of all sericin in a final process without performing removal of sericin from raw silk at the beginning, and to provide a method for producing a silk woven fabric.SOLUTION: The method for producing a silk yarn includes: impregnating raw silk with a modifier for insolubilizing sericin of a silk fiber; then performing twisting; then performing a heat treatment for fixing the twist at a temperature of 120-140°C for 10-30 minutes; then performing untwisting for twisting in a direction opposite to the direction of the twisting; and then performing immersion in 0.6-3.0 g/l of a proteolytic enzyme to refine and remove sericin contained in the silk yarn. The method for producing a silk woven fabric includes weaving a silk yarn which has been untwisted to form a woven fabric; and then performing immersion in a proteolytic enzyme to refine.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
