Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to provide veneer having a grain pattern or color with stability and warm wood texture of natural wood while lowering manufacturing costs, a decorative veneer panel, and a veneer manufacturing method. According to the present invention, a raw tree is acquired as edge-grained timber, and a timber piece obtained by cutting the edge-grained timber into predetermined sizes is dried to be cut into 5 to 30 mm. A grain pattern in the lateral direction of the cut timber piece is prepared as the edge-grained timber, and glued laminated timer is formed by stacking multiple timber pieces in the lateral direction. The decorative veneer panel is formed by attaching, on a base, a sheet of veneer, which is cut in a cutter, such as a slicing machine, etc., by a thickness of 0.15 to 0.60 mm by intersecting a bonding surface of the glued laminated timber.
