Abstract:
The present invention provides a sensor for detecting a deformation of a sealed secondary battery which does not require an electrical wiring from a polymer matrix layer to a detection unit, and which is capable of suppressing deviation in the location of the polymer matrix layer. Provided is a sensor for detecting a deformation of a sealed secondary battery, comprising a polymer matrix layer 25 with an adhesive layer, and a detection unit 4. The polymer matrix layer 25 with adhesive layer is disposed on the inner side of an outer casing body of the sealed secondary battery, and includes a magnetic filler which is dispersed therewithin and which imparts a change to an external field corresponding to a deformation. Furthermore, the polymer matrix layer 25 with adhesive layer includes an adhesive layer upon at least one surface thereof. The detection unit 4 is disposed on the outer side of the outer casing body and detects the change of the external field.
