PURPOSE: To attain sure paper feeding by letting an original paper feeding cassette and a transfer paper feed cassette make different from each other so as to prevent mis-operation and malfunction.

CONSTITUTION: Transfer paper 12 is supplied to a paper carrier line 13 by using a paper feed roller 11 from a transfer paper feeding cassette 15 set on an automatic paper feed section 9 and butted to a resist roller pair 14 and fed to the upper side of a photosensitive body 2 while taking a timing by the resist roller pair 14 in the print mode. Then an original fed from an original paper feed cassette set similarly to the case with the transfer paper feed paper cassette 15 is sent to the automatic paper feed section 9 by activating the resist roller pair 14, a scanner 24 is operated in matching with the feeding timing to start reading the original information. Then the original is carried to a fixing device 7 via a transfer device 5 from the photosensitive body 2 and discharged to a paper discharge tray 20 by a paper discharge roller 17.
