Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oscillation circuit and an oscillation method capable of suppressing fluctuation in oscillation frequency to temperature fluctuation and power supply voltage fluctuation, and of improving accuracy of the oscillation frequency.SOLUTION: An oscillation circuit comprises: an RS flip-flop 11 that generates an output signal; a charge and discharge controller 12 that controls a first charging current and a second charging current by an output signal to charge and discharge a first capacitor C1 and a second capacitor C2; a first comparator 13 that compares a first charging signal and a first reference voltage with each other and outputs a set signal; a second comparator 14 that compares a second charging signal and the first reference voltage with each other and outputs a reset signal; an amplitude controller 15 that controls a timing when the first reference voltage and the first and second charging signals are accorded with each other depending on peak values of the first and second charging signals; and a charging current controller 16 that controls slew rates of the first and second charging signals by changing the first and second charging currents depending on a frequency of the output signal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
