Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent that a plastic film provided with a photocatalytic layer is decomposed or deteriorated by photocatalytic action when the plastic film is used as a photocatalytic film. SOLUTION: In a photocatalytic film 10 wherein a vapor deposition layer with a thickness of 100-2,000 Å comprising silicon oxide or aluminum oxide and a photocatalytic layer 3 based on titanium oxide are provided on one surface of a base material film 1, the vapor deposition layer 2 is continuously constituted by the physical vapor deposition of at least one inorg. oxide such as aluminum and/or silicon oxide.
