Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polishing device which can polish a shoulder face of a cylindrical hole.SOLUTION: A polishing device comprises: a polishing member which is rotated while being guided to an inner peripheral surface of a cylindrical hole formed on a processing object, and polishes a shoulder face which is a conical surface concentric with an annular surface perpendicular to a central axis of the cylindrical hole or said the cylindrical hole; a drive motor which so holds the polishing member as to be movable in an axial direction and rotates the polishing member; and a pressing unit positioned between the polishing member and the drive motor. The pressing unit has: a cylindrical body member which is fitted to an opening portion of the cylindrical hole in the processing object, and to which the drive motor is fixed; a coil spring which presses the polishing member towards the shoulder face; and an annular bearing which so receives the coil spring as to be rotatable with respect to the body member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
