Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power generating device which can achieve higher power output while reducing the size thereof and a power generating module using the same.SOLUTION: A power generating device 1 comprises: a support part 11; a cantilever part 12 swingably supported by the support part 11; a device substrate 10 having a weight part 13 disposed on an end of the cantilever part 12 opposite to the support part 11 side; and a power generating part 20 which is disposed in the cantilever part 12 and generates alternating current voltage in response to vibration of the cantilever part 12. The power generating part 20 comprises: a piezoelectric body 21 formed on one surface side of the cantilever part 12 in the thickness direction thereof; an electrode 23 formed on a side surface of the piezoelectric body 21 on the weight part 13 side; and an electrode 22 formed on a side surface of the piezoelectric body 21 on the support part 11 side. That is, the power generating part 20 has a pair of the electrodes 22 and 23 that face each other. In the power generating part 20, the piezoelectric body 21 is polarized in a direction from one of the both side surfaces to the other.
