Abstract:

PURPOSE: To respectively restrain the deterioration of printing quality and the occurrence of radio interference caused by noise radio by enlarging the contact area of a rotary electrode, thereby reducing secular change caused by abrasion.

CONSTITUTION: This rotary electrode is used for a photosensitive drum 11 for an electrophotographic process, and an electrode main body is basically formed nearly like a disk by using a metallic material having spring property. A contact part is formed by separating the circumference of a nearly comma-shaped bead like contact fitting 2 having width in a radial direction nearly symmetrically by putting the hole of a rotary shaft in between in a state where one end is connected to a disk 1 and bending the leading edge thereof, while a projecting piece forming the contact part 6a coming in contact with the inner wall of the photosensitive drum 11 is integrally provided at the nearly symmetrical positions of the circumferential part of the disk-like electrode main body. Furthermore, in the case of using the rotary electrode, conductive grease 18 is applied between the contact part of the contact fitting and the fixed base part contact surface of the rotary shaft 14 in this rotary electrode for the photosensitive drum for the electrophotographic process.
