Abstract:

To provide a readily producible three-dimensional fiber-reinforced composite material rug having a uniform fiber volume content and improving the strength of a member.

The three-dimensional fiber-reinforced composite material rug is formed as follows. Warp yarns 51, weft yarns 52 and bias yarns 53 and 54 forming a two-dimensionally arranged yarn layer are stretched in the direction against a main produced stress over a plurality of predetermined stress-shared regions. A plurality of two-dimensionally arranged yarn layers having mutually different orientation patterns A1 to F2 are selectively superimposed so that the fiber orientation ratio Vfin each stress-shared region is mutually even according to the required strength. Each two-dimensionally arranged yarn layer is bound with vertical yarns 62 to form a three-dimensional woven fabric. The resultant three-dimensional woven fabric is filled with a matrix 61 and integrated.
