Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for recovering a noble metal from a solution containing noble metal ions, an extractant or an adsorbent, and a back extractant or a desorbent used therefor.SOLUTION: The noble metal is obtained by bringing the extractant that has extracted the noble metal ions into contact with the back extractant or by bringing the adsorbent that has adsorbed the noble metal ions into contact with the desorbent. The back extractant and desorbent contain a sulfur-containing amino acid derivative represented by general formula (1). In the formula, Rrepresents a methyl group, an ethyl group, a vinyl group, a 3-8C linear, branched or cyclic hydrocarbon group, or a 6-14C aromatic hydrocarbon group; and each Rindependently represents a hydrogen atom, a methyl group, an ethyl group, a vinyl group, a 3-8C linear, branched or cyclic hydrocarbon group, or a 6-14C aromatic hydrocarbon group; and n represents 0 or 1.
