To provide a control device for a robot allowing people around the robot to recognize a state of a radio environment of the robot.

The control device 9 for the robot R mutually transmits/receives information with a managing computer 3 through a radio station 1, autonomously moves in a predetermined moving area, and comprises a radio intensity information controlling portion 90 determining in which level out of the predetermined plurality of levels the radio intensity of a position where the robot R exists is, and reporting the determined radio intensity level. The radio intensity information controlling portion 90 comprises: an ear part display controlling portion 91 controlling a lighting state of ear part display portions 8a, 8b provided at an ear part according to the determined radio intensity level; a moving speed controlling portion 92 decreasing the walking speed of the robot R while interlocking with the lighting state of the ear display portions 8a, 8b when the radio intensity is in a low level during the movement of the robot R; and a voice information controlling portion 93 informing the decrease of the walking speed by voice.
