Title:
The rotation position sensing device for internal-combustion engines, and the rotation electrical machinery for internal-combustion engines
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP6131984
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
Provided is a rotary electric machine in which increase in temperature of a rotational position sensor can be suppressed. This rotary electric machine for an internal combustion engine includes a stator 31 and a sensor unit 41. The sensor unit 41 has a cover 53d that accommodates therein a sensor 43d. The cover 53d has a contact part 62 that is in contact with the stator 31 and a non-contact part 63 that is not in contact with the stator 31. Gaps 64 are formed as sections between the non-contact part 63 and the stator 31. The sensor 43d is accommodated in the non-contact part 63. The gaps 64 extend widely on both sides of the sensor 43d. The sensor unit 41 may be provided with covers 53a, 53b, 53c which only have the contact part 61. The gaps 64 provide heat insulating layers formed by air. Accordingly, heat transfer between the stator 31 and the cover 53 is suppressed. The air introduced into the gaps 64 facilitates heat dissipation.
