Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for separating molybdenum concentrates, upon separation of molybdenum concentrates from copper-molybdenum minerals by floatation, capable of significantly improving the separation efficiency between molybdenum and copper.SOLUTION: Provided is a method for separating molybdenum concentrates having a floatation process where copper-molybdenum minerals are subjected to floatation so as to be separated into copper concentrates and molybdenum concentrates. In the floatation process, the pulp concentration of slurry including the copper-molybdenum minerals is controlled to be 10% or more, the slurry is added with potassium permanganate as an inhibitor for inhibiting the floating properties of the copper minerals by 2 kg/t or more, the pH of the slurry is made into an alkaline region, and the floatation is performed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
