Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shellfish treatment system including a continuous furnace where the improvement of treatment efficiency, suppression in exhaust of CO, labor reduction in operational management for treatment conditions or maintenance, and durability to withstand long time operation are ensured.SOLUTION: The shellfish treatment system comprises: a desalination washing apparatus 1 where raw material shellfishes are water-washed; a cracking apparatus 3 where the washed shellfishes are cracked; a heating/drying apparatus where the cracked pieces are heated and dried; and a resistance type electric furnace 5 where half-fired pieces are passed through the surface of a moving bed type base 52 in the furnace chamber of a passage with a circular shape in a plan view to be fired, and by continuous treatment, calcium oxide is obtained.
