Abstract:
The roller (100) has a covering element (20), a bearing (30) and a brake unit (50). The bearing and the covering element are connected with each other. An impeding device (60) is disposed between the bearing point (40) and the covering element at a point in the braking train of the braking unit. The device allows or prevents the braking unit to have or from having a braking effect in accordance with a direction of rotation of the covering element relative to the bearing point. An independent claim is also included for the conveying section with a frame.
