Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent melted water from being frozen on a road surface due to the drop in air temperature at night or the like, even if the snow accumulated on the surface and shoulder of a road melts by the warm air in the daytime or by a rainfall, and the melted water flows on the road surface.
CONSTITUTION: By providing a large number of recessed grooves 7 of 4 to 10mm depth and 4 to 10mm width extending in the width direction of a road on the road surface 6 paved with asphalt or the like, the snow accumulated on the surface and shoulder of the road is melted by the warm air in the daytime or by a rainfall. Thus, even if melted water flows on the road surface 6, the melted water flows down into the recessed grooves 7 and are drained out.
