Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide toothbrush bristles that have high holding force of dentifrice at bristle tips, that have gentle touch to the gum or the like as well as having high cleaning force of periodontal pockets, and that have excellent durability so that the bristles hardly break during the use, and also to provide a toothbrush having this bristles.SOLUTION: Toothbrush bristles 10 include: a columnar body part 12; and a plurality of branch parts 14 that project from a tip end part 12a of the body part 12 at a distance from each other. Each of the branch parts 14 is formed of a plurality of columnar branch axes 16 that extend in the axial direction in the body part 12 and project from the body part 12. The branch axes 16 are annularly arranged around the central axis of the body part 12 in a manner fulfilling specific conditions. The tip end part 12a of the body part 12 is gradually tapered toward a tip end 12b, with the branch parts 14 situated in the manner surrounding the tip end 12b of the body part 12 in the plane view.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
