Abstract:
To provide a biodegradable mesh sheet having high washing resistance and flame retardance and disposable by land disposal.
A coating layer composed of a flame-retardant composition containing a biodegradable resin is formed on the whole exposed surface of a yarn constituting a mesh woven or knit fabric composed of a biodegradable multifilament yarn. The composition contains a microencapsulated flame-retarding agent in an amount of 5-75 mass% of the biodegradable resin and the composition is impregnated into a capillary space between the filaments of the microfilament yarn to bond the filaments with each other.
