Abstract:
A 3D printed hierarchical rebound structure and a sole using same. The hierarchical rebound structure comprises a surface grid (1), multiple 3D printed hierarchical rebound lattice cells, a ring edge (2), a bottom grid (3), and angled support rods (4). The hierarchical rebound lattice cell consists of a cushioning component and a cushioning and rebound component. The cushioning component is a planar force bearing structure consisting of n vertical rods (5), n angled tension rods (6), and 4n angled support rods (4) (n ≥ 3). The cushioning and rebound component is a structure consisting of a single resilient vertical column (7). The structure is based on pressure distribution of the sole of the foot, and the 3D printed two-layered rebound structure is applied to a sole, such that impact energy generated by movement can be fully absorbed by means of two cushioning processes, and a large rebound force is provided. The invention ensures that athletes participating in different sports having different performance features can complete skilled movement, protects the athletes from sport injuries, and is comfortable, air-permeable, customizable, and lightweight.
