Abstract:
An absorbent article (1) has a longitudinal direction, a width direction, and a thickness direction in an unfolded state and has a fluid-absorbing absorbent body (21) and a feces indicator (40) that is provided further on the non-skin side in the thickness direction than the absorbent body (21) and is reactive to only feces, said feces indicator (40) being configured such that: the feces indicator (40) can be seen from the non-skin side of the absorbent article (1); and the shape of the feces indicator (40) on a front side is different from the shape of the feces indicator (40) on a rear side, the front side corresponding to the ventral side of a wearer with respect to the center in the longitudinal direction of the absorbent article (1) during wearing, the rear side corresponding to the dorsal side of the wearer.
