Abstract:
This AC electric motor drive sysytem has: a power supply transformer (2) connected to an AC power supply (1) and insulating between the AC power supply side and the load side; an AC electric motor (4); and a power converter (3) for converting AC voltage output from the power supply transformer (2) to output AC voltage and outputting the output AC voltage to the AC electric motor (4). The AC electric motor drive system is also provided with a capacitance component (15) having one end connected to the load side of the power supply transformer (2) and the other end connected to the ground.
