Abstract:

An AC rotating machine control device has: an AC rotating machine including first and second windings having a phase difference; a first current detection unit for detecting the current flowing through the first winding; a second current detection unit for detecting the current flowing through the second winding; a control unit for, based on the detected current values, calculating a first voltage command and a second voltage command; and a first detectability determination unit for, based on at least one of the first and second voltage commands, determining whether or not it is possible for the first current detection unit to detect the current flowing through the first winding. When it is impossible to detect the current flowing through the first winding, the control unit calculates the first and second voltage commands on the basis of the detected current value of the second winding.
