Abstract:
An accelerating fidget spinner (1) has a bidirectional or multi-directional symmetric member serving as a main body, and a bearing is inserted into a middle portion of the main body. The combination of the above components forms a novel article that is planarly rotatable and that can be spun by holding and pushing the article with the fingers. The accelerating fidget spinner (1) and a method for accelerating rotation of the same employ principles of a spinning chair experiment carried out by Zhukovsky, and arrange sliding members (6) functioning as tucked-in arms so as to further accelerate rotation of the fidget spinner (1) in a spinning process.
