Abstract:
[Problem] To enable specific phenomena serving as signs of accidents at various types of facilities to be detected without omission, alert warnings to be reliably issued at appropriate timings, and the occurrence of accidents to be prevented. [Solution] Provided is an accident sign detection system comprising a plurality of cameras 1 that photograph a monitoring area, and a monitoring server 2 that controls the issuance of an alert warning on the basis of photographed images from these cameras. The monitoring server sets, as the monitoring area, a detection area in the vicinity of an entrance (entry to an escalator) to a hazardous site, sets, from within the detection area, a warning area at a position approaching the hazardous site, and, on the basis of photographed images from each of the plurality of cameras, detects a person in the detection area, detects a specific phenomenon pertaining to the person, and implements control such that when the person detected in a first area enters a second area, an alert warning is issued according to the detection result of the specific phenomenon pertaining to the person.
