Abstract:

The present invention relates to an acrylic copolymer coagulant and a method for preparing a graft copolymer using same, the acrylic copolymer coagulant being a copolymerized product of a monomer mixture containing a carboxylic acid-based monomer and an acrylic monomer represented by chemical formula 1, wherein the content, X, of carboxylic acid-based monomer units in the acrylic copolymer coagulant satisfies equation 1 and the average particle diameter, Y, of the acrylic copolymer coagulant satisfies equation 2. According to the present invention, a graft copolymer having excellent impact strength, surface gloss, and processability can be prepared.
