Abstract:
An acrylic rubber that is a copolymer obtained by copolymerizing 1-4% by weight of a reactive halogen-group-containing vinyl monomer as a crosslinkable comonomer in the copolymer, wherein n-butyl acrylate in a proportion of 45-65% by weight, 2-methoxyethyl acrylate in a proportion of 10-35% by weight, and ethoxyethoxyethyl acrylate in a proportion of 8-30% by weight are copolymerized in 100% by weight of comonomers other than crosslinkable comonomers. This ethoxyethoxyethyl acrylate copolymer acrylic rubber can suppress a decrease in oil resistance while improving the cold resistance represented by the TR-10 value, and a crosslinkable composition is formed by compounding with a vulcanizing agent that corresponds to the crosslinkable groups in the acrylic rubber.
