Title:
ACRYLIC RUBBER HAVING EXCELLENT ROLL PROCESSING PROPERTIES, BANBURY PROCESSING PROPERTIES, WATER RESISTANCE, STRENGTH CHARACTERISTICS AND PRESSURE-RESISTANT PERMANENT SET CHARACTERISTICS
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2021/246516
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is an acrylic rubber having excellent roll processing properties, Banbury processing properties, water resistance, strength characteristics and pressure-resistant permanent set characteristics. This acrylic rubber comprises: a bond unit derived from at least one type of (meth)acrylic acid ester selected from the group consisting of an alkyl (meth)acrylate ester and an alkoxyalkyl (meth)acrylate ester; a bond unit derived from a monomer containing at least one type of reactive group selected from the group consisting of a carboxyl group, an epoxy group and a chlorine atom; and, if necessary, a bond unit derived from another monomer. The weight average molecular weight (Mw), as determined from the absolute molecular weight and absolute molecular weight distribution measured using a GPC-MALS method, is 1,000,000-3,500,000. The ratio (Mw/Mn) of the weight average molecular weight (Mw) and the number average molecular weight (Mn) is 3.7-6.5. The amount of methyl ethyl ketone-insoluble components is 50 wt% or less. The ash content is 0.15 wt% or less. The total amount of sodium, magnesium, calcium, phosphorus and sulfur in ash is 50 wt% or more.
