The present invention provides an acrylic rubber particle (C) that has a multilayer structure of at least three layers, the acrylic rubber particle (C) comprising at least an outer layer (b) that contains an uncrosslinked hard polymer containing at least 70 mass% methyl methacrylate unit; an intermediate layer (a-2) that contains an elastic copolymer containing 60 to 99.8 mass% alkyl acrylate unit and 0.2 to 10 mass% copolymerizable crosslinkable monomer unit; and a core layer (a-1) that contains a crosslinked polymer containing 40 to 98.99 mass% methyl methacrylate unit, 1 to 59.99 mass% alkyl acrylate unit, and 0.01 to 1 mass% copolymerizable crosslinkable monomer unit. The acrylic rubber particle (C) is characterized in that the weight-average molecular weight of the hard polymer of the outer layer (b) is at least 30,000; the gel content of the acrylic rubber particle (C) is greater than 75 mass%; the particle diameter in water (DW) of the acrylic rubber particle (C) is 50 to 350 nm; and the dispersion particle diameter provided by dispersing an aggregated powder of the acrylic rubber particle (C) in methylene chloride (DM) is less than 10-times the particle diameter in water (DW).
