Abstract:
Existing dry chemical fire extinguishers generally employ spray switches as activation elements and temperature-sensing glass spheres as spray activation members, and are activated when the temperature-sensing glass spheres burst. The temperature-sensing glass spheres are mainly burst by means of temperature-controlled activation and mechanical activation. Most existing dry chemical fire extinguishers employ temperature-controlled activation. Provided is an activation device for a dry chemical fire extinguisher, wherein a holding plate (2) is fixedly connected to a sleeve (4), a heating wire (1) is fixedly provided at the holding plate (2), A rotary shaft (5) is provided at one end of a curved section of the sleeve (4), a spring (6) is provided at the other end thereof, and a connection terminal (7) is fixedly provided inside a distal end of the sleeve (4). The device of the present invention has the advantages of: an electric resistance wire is heated to trigger temperature-controlled activation of a temperature-sensing glass sphere, and is fixed to the temperature-sensing glass sphere by means of a spring (6); a welding technique is used to connect a heating wire (1) to ensure a stable and secure connection; and the connection terminal (7) enables convenient connection of an external wire.
