Abstract:
The present invention provides an active current compensation apparatus for actively compensating for noise generated in a common mode in each of at least two large current paths, the apparatus comprising: a sensing unit for generating an output signal corresponding to a common mode noise current on the large current paths; an amplification unit for amplifying the output signal to generate an amplified current; a compensation unit which generates a compensation current on the basis of the amplified current and causes the compensation current to flow through each of the at least two large current paths; and a malfunction detection unit for detecting a malfunction of the amplification unit, wherein the malfunction detection unit and at least a portion of the amplification unit are contained in a single integrated circuit (IC) chip.
