Abstract:
Provided are: an active energy ray-curable composition which exhibits low viscosity suitable for coating, and also exhibits a high refractive index as a cured article; a cured article thereof; and a plastic lens. This active energy ray-curable composition contains a phenylbenzyl(meth)acrylate (A) and a bicarbazole compound (B) represented by structural formula (1). (In the formula, X1 and X2 each independently represent a photopolymerizable functional group, a structural site having a photopolymerizable functional group, or a hydrogen atom, and at least X1 or X2 represents a photopolymerizable functional group or a structural site having a photopolymerizable functional group. In addition, R1 and R2 each independently represent a hydrogen atom, a C1-4 alkyl group, a C1-4 alkoxy group, a bromine atom, or a chlorine atom.)
