Abstract:
The present invention provides a material for efficiently capturing active hydrogen-containing organic compounds such as alcohol compounds. The present invention uses an active hydrogen-containing organic compound scavenger that contains an isocyanate compound (a single compound or a mixture of multiple compounds, and, when being a mixture, n represents the average of the mixture) that has a bromine content of 38-78 wt % and that is represented by general formula (1) (in the general formula, R1 and R2 each independently represent a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1-4 carbon atoms, each R3 independently represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group having 1-4 carbon atoms, or a bromine atom, m represents at least one selected from the group consisting of 0, 1, 2, and 3, and n represents a real number of 0 or more).
