Abstract:
The present invention relates to air conditioner installation and debugging, and specifically relates to an active outdoor unit detection method used for communication miswiring between indoor and outdoor units of an air conditioner, which aims to solve the problem in which existing miswiring detection methods are unable to effectively protect indoor and outdoor communication devices while simultaneously promptly detecting a severe malfunction. For this purpose, the method of the present invention comprises the following steps: S1: after an air conditioning unit is powered on and before normal communication is carried out, a sending port of an outdoor unit sending a set of miswiring detection data; S2: a receiving port of the outdoor unit receiving feedback data; S3: determining whether the feedback data is consistent with the detection data; S4: if the feedback data is consistent with the detection data, determining that miswiring is not present, and the outdoor unit and an indoor unit starting normal communication, otherwise determining that miswiring is present and executing step S5; S5: waiting for a first set period of time before proceeding to execute steps S1 to S4. In the present invention, operations are performed on the outdoor unit side, which is more proactive, and the speed at which a malfunction is located is quicker, and an abnormal increase in the temperature of a communication device may be prevented.
