Abstract:
An active type bird collision prevention method and device for aircraft; the method comprises: activating a radar detection device (1) to detect whether a flying creature such as a bird approaches a preset danger area of the aircraft, and transmitting a detected signal to a central controller (2) in an aircraft cockpit; after receiving the danger signal transmitted by the radar detection device (1), the central controller (2) activates a fuel gas generator (3) installed in the aircraft engine (11), or in the aircraft head or in the aircraft body to generate high-temperature high-pressure fuel gas; the fuel gas flow jetted by the fuel gas generator (3) strikes the body of the flying creature such as a bird to bounce the bird away from the aircraft, thus avoiding collision between the bird and the engine or the aircraft body. The device on the aircraft actively protects the aircraft, providing more thorough and more effective protection. In addition, the device can drive off large birds, thus solving the problem in the prior art of incapability of protecting against collisions with large birds.
