Abstract:
The present disclosure addresses the problem of providing a miniaturized AD converter, and a sensor system. A DA converting unit (5) generates a comparison voltage corresponding to a target bit, from a most significant bit to a least significant bit. A comparator (7) determines a value of the target bit by comparing a difference voltage (V4) between an output signal (V3) of an input switching unit (2) and the comparison voltage generated by the DA converting unit (5), with a reference voltage. An integrator (61) integrates a conversion error that arises after the comparator (7) has performed the successive comparison operation up to the least significant bit. In a first conversion operation for performing AD conversion of a first signal (VA), a control unit (4) sets the reference voltage for a case in which AD conversion of the first signal (VA) to be output next as an output signal (V3) by the input switching unit (2) is to be performed, on the basis of the integration result obtained by the integrator (61) after AD conversion of the first signal (VA) that was output last time by the input switching unit (2) as the output signal (V3) was performed, and in a second conversion operation for performing AD conversion of a second signal (VA2), the control unit (4) sets the reference voltage to a fixed voltage level.
