A broadcast transmitter for transmitting broadcast data by which a broadcast program can be structured from sub-programs on the basis of viewing history information on viewers and a receiver capable of receiving the broadcast data and presenting a program structured on the basis of the viewing history information are disclosed. The broadcast transmitter transmits broadcast data including sub-programs for constituting a broadcast program and a control signal and/or a control table signal for structuring a program from the sub-programs on the basis of the viewing history information on the receiver side by means of the receiver. The receiver structures a program from the sub-programs in the broadcast data on the basis of control information and/or control table information according to the control signal and/or a control table signal, and the viewing history information including program composing channels preset by the receiver and preset time information and presents it on a monitor.
