Abstract:

Provided is an adhesive-coated fiber cord that has a low environmental load and is capable of adhering tightly to rubber. This adhesive-coated fiber cord is obtained by coating the surface of an organic fiber cord with an adhesive composition, wherein said adhesive-coated fiber cord is characterized in that the adhesive composition contains polyphenols and aldehydes, and either the average coating thickness of the adhesive composition that coats the organic fiber cord is 1 to 20 μm or the adhesion rate for the adhesive composition coating the organic fiber cord is 1 to 10%.
