Abstract:
The present invention relates to the water discharge drain comprising, a siphon (10) connected to drain pipe, an insulating skirted flange (20) located on the siphon (10) and on which ceramic shower tile is laid, which provides transmitting water used in the bathroom and the shower area and accumulated on the floor to the sewer system. The present invention is characterized by, it comprises an insulation seal (30) connected on insulating skirted flange (20) by the pressing flange (40), a water reservoir (50) providing discharging used water accumulated on the floor and located on the insulation seal (30), a connection throat (60) which is positioned from any point on the insulation seal (30) into the siphon (10) for guiding used water accumulated on water reservoir (50) and connected to outlet port (51) on the water reservoir (50) to siphon (10).

Claims:
CLAIMS

1. A water discharge drain comprising, a siphon (10) connected to drain pipe, an insulating skirted flange (20) located on siphon (10) and on which the ceramic shower tile is laid, which provides transmitting water used in the bathroom and the shower area and accumulated on the floor to the sewer system, characterized by comprising; an insulation seal (30) connected to the insulating skirted flange (20), a pressing flange (40) providing connection of insulation seal (30) to insulating skirted flange (20), a water reservoir (50) providing discharging used water accumulated on the floor and located on the insulation seal (30), a connection throat (60) which is positioned from any point on the insulation seal (30) into the siphon (10) through drilling a hole on the insulation seal (30) by means of a sharp tip (61) on its lower surface for guiding used water accumulated on water reservoir (50) and connected to the outlet port (51) on the water reservoir (50) to siphon (10).

2. The water discharge drain according to Claim 1 , characterized by comprising, the insulation seal (30) which covers port portion of the insulating skirted flange wholly to which a water flow is provided, and which connects to said insulating skirted flange via pressing flange (40).

3. The water discharge drain according to Claim 1 or 2, wherein said insulation seal (30) is in the form of flat elastic.

The water discharge drain according to Claim 1 , characterized by comprising a sharp tip (61) which is located on the lower surface of said connection throat (60) and which provides drilling a hole to obtain an outlet port on the insulation seal (30) through positioning connection throat (60) from any point on the insulation seal (30) into the siphon.

The water discharge drain according to Claim 1 , characterized by comprising; a water reservoir (50) in the form of rectangular, which is connectable to siphon (10) at different centers via the connection throat (60) which is connected into outlet port (51) of different centers and diameters located thereon.

6. The water discharge drain according to Claim 1 , wherein said connection throat (60) is screwed into the outlet port (51 ).

7. The water discharge drain according to Claim 1 , characterized by comprising an o- ring (70) located on the said connection throat (60) and providing the sealing of the connection throat (60).

8. The water discharge drain according to Claim 1 , characterized by comprising; a retainer (80) located on the said connection throat (60) and providing the retaining of the dirt.

9. The water discharge drain according to Claim 1 , characterized by comprising a filter (90) located on said water reservoir (50).

Description:
ADJUSTABLE WATER DISCHARGE DRAIN

Technical Field

The present invention relates to water discharge drains which provide transmitting water used for shower area and accumulated on the floor to the sewer system.

The invention particularly relates to the water discharge drain which connects the water reservoir on the ceramic shower tile to the bottom or side outlet siphon fixed in the screed on the floor at different centers by means of the connection throat, which makes the assembly practical. Background of the Invention

In the bathrooms and shower areas for taking a bath, water discharge drains connected to ceramic shower tiles on the floor are used for the discharge of used water. Water discharge drains generally consist of a water reservoir equipped with a filter for keeping the dirt and a siphon with a bottom or side outlet fixed in the screed on the floor by connecting to the drain pipe. In the said water discharge drains, the assembly of the siphon at the desired point because of the outlet port of the water reservoir of different diameters and different centers is problematic.

The water discharge drains employed in the state of the art, are generally of two different types, namely drains which have limited movability and drain which are movable only in the horizontal axis.

Water discharge drains which have limited movability in the eccentric form, it is possible to adjust the water reservoir according to the siphon as is permitted by the eccentric structure. This causes that the water discharge drain cannot be moved in the desired position when attached to the ceramic shower tile. However, in the water discharge drains which are movable only on the horizontal axis, the sealing of the water discharge drain can be provided with a seal, but there is a possibility of adjustment within the tolerances permitted on the horizontal axis. This causes that the water discharge drain cannot be moved in the desired position when attached to the ceramic shower tile. Patent Application No. TR2019/10482 may be shown as an example of the state of the art as a result of the research conducted on the literature. Said document relates to a height- adjustable assembly filter. The invention consists of a lower-body connected to the drain pipe, an intermediate flange connected to the lower body, a screwed filter head connected via screw threads to the intermediate flange in a height-adjustable manner, and a filter head. Thanks to the filter head being screwed, it is possible to adjust it vertically to the floor. This causes the assembly filter being rotationally fixed on the horizontal axis and not to be positioned as desired on the floor. Meanwhile, because of the absence of sealing on the said structure, the water discharge drain cannot be provided with sealing.

Another example of the state of the art is Patent Application No. TR2017/08236. Said patent document is related to a water drain developed for compensating center deviations on the floors. Said invention describes a water drain which is provided movability by means of a flange chamber with sealing connected to the siphon connected to the floor and a movable flange with sealing connected to flange chamber with sealing via eccentric flange lock. Inside of the flange chamber with sealing there are projections and outside of the flange lock, there are recesses. The movable flange with sealing is placed between the eccentric flange lock and the flange chamber with sealing. A space herein is provided so as to the movable flange with sealing is movable. The wall of the step-shaped projection in the middle of the flange chamber with sealing is the limit of movement. The diameter of said step- shaped projection is larger than the diameter of the movable flange with sealing. This space is the movement area of the movable flange with sealing. Said movable flange with sealing is movable only as this space area within the said area. Therefore, an adjustment possibility arises also within the permitted tolerances on the horizontal axis in said drain structure. As a result due to the abovementioned disadvantages and the insufficiency of the current solutions regarding the subject matter, a development is required to be made in the relevant technical field.

Objects of the Invention

The present invention relates to an adjustable water discharge drain which eliminates the abovementioned disadvantages and offers novel advantages to the related technical field.

The main object of the invention is to provide an adjustable connection of the water reservoir located on the ceramic shower tile to the bottom or side outlet siphon fixed in the screed on the floor by means of the connection throat at different centers.

The object of the invention making montage of water discharge drain practical, by making a connection of water reservoir which has a fixed outlet port and of different diameters to the siphon at the desired points.

Another object of the invention is to guide used water to the siphon through drilling a hole at the desired point of the insulating sealing by the connection of the water reservoir located on the ceramic shower tile to the siphon via connection throat. Another object of the invention is to prevent additional labor and time spent in the assembly of water discharge drain.

In order to fulfill all the objects which may be presented through abovementioned and following detailed description of the invention, the invention provides a water discharge drain which comprises a siphon connected to drain pipe, insulating skirted flange located on the siphon and on which ceramic shower tile is laid, which provides transmitting water used in the bathroom and the shower area and accumulated on the floor to the sewer system, wherein it includes; an insulating seal connected to insulating skirted flange, a pressing flange providing connection between insulating seal and insulating skirted flange, a water reservoir providing discharging used water accumulated on the floor and located on the insulating seal, a connection throat which is positioned from any point on the insulation seal into the siphon through drilling a hole on the insulation seal by means of a sharp tip on its lower surface for guiding used water accumulated on the water reservoir and connected to the outlet port on the water reservoir to the siphon.

The structural and characteristic features and all the advantages of the invention will be understood more clearly by reference to the following figures and the detailed explanation thereof. Therefore, the evaluation should be made by taking these figures and detailed explanations into consideration.

Detailed Description of the Invention In this detailed description, the preferred alternatives of the water discharge drain of the present invention are merely explained for a better understanding of the subject of the invention, which is not intended to be limiting in any way.

In Figure 1 , it is showed the disassembled view of the water discharge drain of the invention. According to the figure, in its most basic form, the water discharge drain comprises a siphon (10) connected to drain pipe, insulating skirted flange (20) located on the siphon (10) and on which ceramic shower tile is laid, an insulation seal (30) connected on insulating skirted flange (20) via pressing flange (40) and providing opening of water drain at different centers on the siphon (10), a water reservoir (50) in the form of rectangular located on insulation seal (30), a connection throat (60) connected to outlet port (51 ) on the water reservoir (50) and guides used water accumulated on water reservoir (50) to the siphon (10), a retainer (80) connected to the connection throat (60) and providing the retaining of the dirt, filter (90) which covers the water reservoir (50).

The siphon (10) is connected to the drain pipe of the water discharge drain of the invention for discharging the used water and at the same time for preventing the spread of odors in the drain pipe. Siphon sealing (11 ) is placed inside the siphon (10) and the insulating skirted flange (20) is connected to the said siphon (10), which provides the integration of the water discharge drain with the screed on the floor and which provides the insulation of the floor. The siphon sealing (11) located in the siphon (10) provides a sealed connection between the siphon (10) and the insulating skirted flange (20).

Insulating skirted flange (20) is connected to the insulation seal (30) in the flat elastic form by means of the pressure flange (40). Said insulation seal (30) covers wholly the port portion of the insulating skirted flange (20) in which water flow is provided.

A water reservoir (50) which is in rectangular form is placed on the insulation seal (30), which covers wholly the port portion of the insulating skirted flange (20), which provides the discharging of the accumulated used water on the floor. The connection throat (60) is screwed into the outlet port (51) located on the said water reservoir (50) and which may have different centers or diameters, said throat provides the water accumulated in the water reservoir (50) to be guided to the siphon (10) and has a sharp tip on the lower surface (as seen in Figures 3a and 3b). In order to provide the sealing of the connection throat (60), there is an o-ring (70) located on the connection throat (60). The connection throat (60), which is screwed into the outlet port (51 ) of the water reservoir (50) and has a sharp tip on its lower surface, is positioned from any point on the insulation seal (30) into the siphon (10). By means of positioning of the connection throat (60) into the outlet port (51), the sharp tip (61) on its lower surface drills a hole in the insulation seal (30) connected to the insulating skirted flange (20) in order to obtain a drain port. By means of the said hole obtained on the insulation seal (30) as a drain port, it is provided that the water accumulated in the water reservoir (50) is guided to the siphon (10) by passing through the connection throat (60). Thus, it is provided that the water reservoir (50) can be connected to the siphon (10) at different centers by means of the insulation seal (30) and the connection throat (60) having a sharp tip (61) on its lower surface, and therefore the used water is guided to the siphon (10) from the desired point.

The retainer (80) is placed on the connection throat (60) to prevent the dirt from entering and the water reservoir (50) is covered with a stainless filter (90).

The use of the water discharge drain of the invention as shown in Figure 2, is as follows;

The used water fills into the water reservoir (50) and is guided into the siphon (10) via the connection throat (60). The used water entering the siphon (10) is transmitted to the sewer system through the drain pipe.
