Abstract:
Disclosed are an adsorptive starch and an adsorptive starch agglomerate, a preparation method and an application thereof, and a nutrient formulation comprising the same. The preparation method of the adsorptive starch comprises the following steps: dispersing starch in water to form a starch dispersion; adding a crosslinking agent to perform a crosslinking reaction to obtain crosslinked starch; subjecting the crosslinked starch to an esterification reaction with octenyl succinic anhydride to obtain octenyl starch succinate; subjecting the octenyl starch succinate to an enzymolysis reaction with amylase; and sequentially performing an expansion treatment and a drying treatment to obtain the adsorptive starch. The inventive step of the preparation method lies in first subjecting the starch to a crosslinking treatment so as to significantly increase the tolerance of the starch in subsequent esterification, enzymolysis and expansion treatments, such that the esterification reaction can introduce hydrophobic groups conducive to adsorption and generate physical micropores, the enzymolysis reaction can add a large number of micropores while maintaining the structure of starch particles, and the expansion treatment can increase the volume of the micropores and the particles without gelatinization of starch molecules, thus maximizing the adsorption capability of the adsorptive starch.
