Abstract:
The present invention relates to the field of air conditioners, and specifically provides an air cleaning control method for air conditioners, and an air conditioner. The present invention aims to solve the problem of deteriorating indoor air quality during the operation of existing air conditioners. For that purpose, an air conditioner of the present invention comprises an indoor unit; the indoor unit comprises an airflow channel, an air intake valve, an air discharging valve, an air blower, and a dirty air suction and release unit; the airflow channel comprises an air intake channel and an air discharging channel; the air intake channel is in communication with the air discharging channel, and two ends of the air intake channel are both indoor; the end of the air discharging channel in communication with the air intake channel is indoor, and the other end is outdoor; the air intake valve is disposed on the air intake channel so as to allow for the independent opening and closing of the air intake channel; the air discharging valve is disposed on the air discharging channel so as to allow for the independent opening and closing of the air discharging channel. The air conditioner of the present invention has an indoor air purification function. In other words, the dirty air suction and release unit purifies dirty air so as to ensure the freshness of the indoor air.
