Abstract:
An air conditioner according to the present invention comprises a refrigerant circuit in which a compressor, a refrigerant circuit flow path switching device, a heating medium heat exchanger, an expansion valve, and an air heat exchanger are connected by conduits through which refrigerant circulates. The air conditioner comprises a control device for controlling the circulating volume of refrigerant that flows through the refrigerant circuit during a defrosting operation in which heat from a heating medium circulation circuit connected to the heating medium heat exchanger is used to defrost the air heat exchanger. The control device comprises: an assessment means for assessing whether a reheating amount which is a heating amount obtained from the heating medium circulation circuit and used in the defrost mode, is excessive; and a reheating amount reduction means for reducing the reheating amount if the reheating amount is assessed as being excessive by the assessment means.
