Abstract:
This air conditioner comprises: a plurality of indoor units having indoor heat exchangers; an outdoor unit having a compressor and an outdoor heat exchanger; a main gas pipe connected to the outdoor unit; a main liquid pipe connected to the outdoor unit; a plurality of branch gas pipes branched from the main gas pipe and connected to the plurality of indoor units; a plurality of branch liquid pipes branched from the main liquid pipe and connected to the plurality of indoor units; a plurality of first shielding valves provided in the plurality of branch gas pipes; a plurality of second shielding valves provided in the plurality of branch liquid pipes; a plurality of expansion valves provided in the plurality of branch liquid pipes; and a first control means. The indoor heat exchangers of the plurality of indoor units, the compressor, the outdoor heat exchanger, the plurality of first shielding valves, the plurality of second shielding valves, and the plurality of expansion valves together form a refrigerant circuit. The first control means is configured to close a first shielding valve and a second shielding valve connected to, among the plurality of indoor units, an indoor unit that is stopped from operating during heating work.
